The Last Kids Fort Idea You’ll Need

It all started with a revolving set of swings - I knew my kids renewed their interest in their play area when things changed up with some frequency. So after enjoying the swings for a few years, I thought - why not make it a fort? One of the swings already allowed for some level of fort building - weaving sheets through it. But it wasn’t big enough. 

So I grabbed my sewing machine and made the fort they’ll never forget. We actually ended up installing a second hook in the ceiling to allow for an even larger fort. Let me tell you - this is the last fort idea you’ll ever need.

Before you say - kids need to experience the failure of the entire thing falling apart when the couch cushion falls! This is too easy! Rest assured they incorporate less structurally sound building techniques, because the fort takes up the entire room! They definitely still experience that feeling of unwanted destruction.
