In 2024 I quit my healthcare marketing job burnt out, stressed out, and maxed out. I looked around my life and noticed I was giving my very best to a company that didn’t deserve it. Meanwhile, my school-aged kids were so enamored and desperate for more time with me. My husband, ever the supportive spouse, encouraged me to pause my 15-year healthcare career to put my heart where I so longed for it to be - at home with our family.

Spending time with my family is amazing and my life is immeasurably lighter without the doom of corporate on my mind - but I remain very productivity-oriented and have found myself spending more and more time in our garden and investing in our home’s appearance and overall livability - two things that were neglected for several years between the haze of early parenthood and juggle with work.

I’m thrilled to launch Lauren Grows Home to bring relatable, accessible projects to women that feel overwhelmed by their home and how to tackle changing it. While there is no lack for ideas and interest, execution tends to hold many back. I aim to instill confidence, safety in failure, and optimism for the process.
